Interventional

Interventional procedures including vascular examinations are performed using the DSA (Digital Subtraction angiography) equipment of the Mercy Heart Centre. The DSA  machine is mostly used for cardiac procedures but provides an ideal environment for performing General Interventional and Vascular Radiology procedures which require a sterile environment and multiplanar fluoroscopic imaging.

Usually the patient is admtted to Mercy Hospital as a Day Patient and will return there after the procedure for observation.

The procedure fee includes the Mercy Hospital accommodation but there may be additional fees such as an Anaesthetist fee.
